It was a beautiful day today so we felt like getting out of the house. None of us had ever been to the Santa Ana Zoo before so we headed over there for a few hours outside in the sun. It felt so good to get out of the house. We haven't been going out much waiting until Delilah got bigger and so she wouldn't get sick. Christopher got to feed some goats (and loved it!), ride a merry-go-round, ride a train, and got to see a huge elephant walk about 2 feet from him on a side walk not in an enclosure. The elephant part was kinda scary I do have to say. They were walking the elephant back to her cage after they had elephant rides. We had to stand off the sidewalks because she coming thru. Elephants are huge and you dont realize it until one is standing and looking right at you. All I kept thinking was please dont trample us! hahaha Christopher got a boo-boo today. He climbed a fence after he was told not to and he jumped off (it was like 1 foot high) and fell and skinned his elbow. And then he told us how he wasn't listening to mom and dad, yep that is what happens!
